Gate City Vs. Twin Springs Scrimmage

You all would complain if Jesus Christ himself were the coach. From what I have heard, Perry has had some pretty good jv teams. The last time I checked, a coach never got a hit or made an error in high school baseball. If Coach Rogers is there to help out then GC should do just fine. Coach Castle is doing a good job up here at the Springs. He has got our players doing things that they haven't done before. I'm sure that Coach Perry and Coach Castle would like to have the support of the fans and not everyone stabbing them in the back on here. I have heard that the funds in the baseball programs are well past dry at GC. How can a coach work with no money?

I think they'd actually be happy with coach carter haha, i dont konw what your talking about with there not happy with jesus being head coach of a high school baseball team.

To my knowledge coach Perry has only lost 1 JV LPD game the whole time he has been JV Head coach, that was last year to Burton on a pitching error. That's not bad. Give these guys a chance. Coach Rogers will be there to help.

Yeah dont string the guy up before he even starts. We will see in due time. Also he will be coaching a young team so his hands will be full.

I dont know. Just hope he gets healthy soon if he is sick. I havnt heard anything.

hey i'm sorry pioneer, i was just assumning that castlewood would be the better team. i have very little knowledge of either TW or CW to be honest. i know that CW was good in basketball and wrestling and tend to beleive they will be the team to beat on the diamond as well. they've won that district the past couple of years if i'm not mistaken. i'm sure TW will have a fine team because they were pretty good last year. i just don't see twin springs doing much because they are generally not a very good baseball program. i'm sorry to leave out TW. no hard feelings mate.

Funny man, let's see, in the past few years they have won back to back girls bball district titles, qualified for the region tourney in volleyball, won several district track titles, boys and girls, won 5 consecutive girls cross country district titles and 10 consecutive boys titles, and a couple region titles as well in both. They were also 5-0 against the LPD in boys basketball this past season, so no they aren't contenders in anything [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]
